Position Overview: EGC is seeking an experienced project coordinator and leader for a full-time position to join our team as the BOLD Program Coordinator remotely from the WesternBalkans. The BOLD Program Coordinator will play a key role in the successful implementation and growth of the BOLD Program, a flagship initiative under the auspices of EGC and our regional chapter in the WB region.

Position Overview:
EGC is seeking an experienced project coordinator and leader for a full-time position to join our team as the BOLD Program Coordinator remotely from the Western Balkans. The BOLD Program Coordinator will play a key role in the successful implementation and growth of the BOLD Program, a flagship initiative under the auspices of EGC and our regional chapter in the WB region.

The BOLD Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing program logistics, BOLD podcast development, and outreach ensuring that all aspects of the program run smoothly and effectively. This role requires a proactive individual with excellent organizational, communication, and design skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and interacting with a diverse range of stakeholders, including program participants, speakers, mentors, and government partners. Additionally, the Coordinator will have the opportunity to hone their pitch and presentation skills within the program, contributing directly to the development and empowerment of program participants. Previous experience in entrepreneurship programs, project management platforms, or related activities within the Western Balkans is highly desirable.

Entrepreneurs for Global Change (EGC) is a social impact organization based in New York City dedicated to supporting young future founders from emerging ecosystems. Through our incubator and training programs, we empower the next generation of entrepreneurs to bring their ideas to life and drive positive change in their communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Program Logistics and Administration:
    • Manage all logistical aspects of the BOLD Program, including scheduling, venue coordination, material preparation, and participant communication.
    • Ensure that all administrative tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner, maintaining high standards of accuracy and organization.
  2. Program Application Outreach and Info Session Lead:
    • Develop and implement strategies to promote the BOLD Program and attract qualified applicants.
    • Organize and lead information sessions to provide potential applicants with program details, application procedures, and expectations.
  3. Partner Engagement:
    • Work closely with our Startup Community Coordinator to ensure active partner participation and support throughout the program.
    • Co-lead the development of maintaining and establishing strong relationships with program partners, including educational institutions, corporate sponsors, and other stakeholders.
  4. Visual Material Design:
    • Create and design visual materials, such as brochures, presentations, and social media content, to effectively communicate the program’s goals and achievements.
    • Ensure that all visual materials align with the organization’s branding and messaging standards.
    • Support the marketing and communication projects.
  5. Correspondence with Program Speakers, Facilitators, and Mentors:
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for program speakers, facilitators, and mentors, ensuring they are well-informed and supported throughout their involvement in the program.
    • Coordinate their participation and provide them with all necessary resources and information.
  6. Correspondence with Government and NGO Partners:
    • Maintain regular communication with our partners, providing updates on program developments and addressing any queries or concerns they may have.
    • Collaborate with partners to enhance the program’s reach and impact.
  7. Supervise BOLD Program Internship Program:
    • Oversee the work of the BOLD Program Intern, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure their professional growth and the successful completion of their tasks.
  8. Support with Program Facilitation:
    • Support the team in developing and delivering presentations, workshops, and educational sessions as part of the BOLD Program curriculum.
    • Co-facilitate group discussions, activities, and learning experiences that engage participants and enhance their understanding of program content.
    • Serve as an educator and mentor, providing direct instruction and guidance to program participants to support their personal and professional development.
  9. Lead the BOLD Podcast Series:
    • Oversee and lead the "Truth be BOLD" podcast series, featuring conversations with alumni, founders, and other members of the BOLD community.
    • Coordinate guest appearances, develop episode content, and ensure the podcast aligns with the program’s mission and values.
    • Promote the podcast to expand its reach and impact, engaging both current and prospective members of the BOLD community.

Secondary Responsibilities:

  • Task Implementation: Facilitate and implement the BOLD team tasks as directed by the CEO, contributing to the overall success of the organization’s initiatives.
  • New Project Development: Participate in the development of new projects that align with the mission of EGC, with the potential to transition into a more responsible role within the BOLD program.
  • Grant Research and Funding Solicitation: Support the research of grant opportunities and the solicitation of funding to ensure the sustainability and expansion of the BOLD Program and other related initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in project management, administration, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in visual design software and PM tools.
  • Experience working with diverse populations and understanding of cultural sensitivity.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and leadership.
  • Experience in facilitation or educational programming is highly desirable.

Language Skills:

  • Fluency in English and at least one local or regional language spoken in the Western Balkans. Strong written and verbal communication skills in these languages are essential.

Additional Information:

  • This position may require occasional travel and the ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, depending on program needs.

Candidate Eligibility:

  • Candidates must be based and residing full-time in the Western Balkans. While most of the position requirements/tasks will be conducted remotely, the role may require occasional travel to various cities across the region for program activities and events.
  • Candidates must speak fluent English and at least one regional language.
